In this class, young design enthusiasts will explore contemporary interior trends and learn about interior design. The focus will be on aesthetics in interior design. It will provide tools and resources to young designers to understand space and help them redesign interior spaces

Contemporary Interiors

Class 1: Spatial arrangements and space analysis

Class 2: Floorplans 

Class 3: Ideation of contemporary styles

Class 4: Finalization of color, material, and lighting

Class 5: Online 3D creation of the space

Class 6: Moodboard and presentation

Asma Ul Hosna

Asma Ul Hosna is a VCUarts Qatar alumna with a major in Interior Design. She acquired her first Master from University College London in Qatar (UCL Qatar) in Museum Studies and currently pursuing her second Masters from Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Islamic Art and Architecture. She is working at VCUarts Qatar as Community Education Coordinator and has been teaching community classes for over four years. She has experience teaching interior design classes as part of the community classes and enjoys the process of understanding and transforming spaces. Her work experience includes retail design, marketing and branding, exhibition design, and education.
