I have always known that I wanted to join the field of architecture. Having grown up visiting the construction sites my father managed, I was in awe of the larger-than-life marvels that to me were true testaments of seemingly limitless human ability. It was the physical manifestation of the highest degree of creativity that could not have existed without scientific fundamentals.
This was particularly appealing to me since I never considered myself to be imaginative, so building codes and material limitations are the necessary boundaries that I need to guide my own ideas. It is only by accepting the constraints of reality that I am able to design a truly unique space that embraces its surroundings.
