Around 2042, protesting has caused a worldwide crisis, resulting in people destroying old artifacts because they believe in the magnificence of the “new,” establishing a totalitarian republic. The new and oppressive government has banned protest and dissent and has limited access to past histories and cultures. It unites its people by demolishing and eliminating the past to erase diversity and difference. In 2072, a group of people discover a deserted underground press that has the oldest evidence of protest leaflets in the 21st century. Unraveling the hidden truth, the group pushes back against the silencing and the erasing of the past, by reviving the press as a symbol of a future of individuality and hope.
