When I was in high school, I questioned what interior design was. Was it about designing walls, flooring, and windows? In my curiosity I repeatedly asked myself how engineers and designers created beautiful architecture and interiors, such as the MFA museum.
When I was accepted into the interior design program, I remember spending my days and nights making physical models and 3D renders. Throughout my journey, I absolutely enjoyed the learning process in design which made me fall in love with my major again.
I have learned that interior design is about creating an environment suitable for everyone and the importance of understanding people’s behavior to create functional spaces and enhance the quality of human life and experience.
