Integrating the environment is an integral part of interior and spatial design. There are some elements used to aesthetically enhance the overall outcome, such as the materials used, furniture and color.
The organization of the whole project and the way certain things are situated, is a vital part in driving emotions and feeling.
Personally, creating spaces where fixtures become furniture, such as walls as a type of furniture, is something I love to use while designing. Controlling people in space, and their pathways is also a way to describe my work.
Design is not about being limited to basic blocks, but using the environment around you, and your learning as an input then implementing them in your outcome spaces.
