About this class

Explore the power of journaling as a tool to connect with your mind, body, and soul. Once considered a simple hobby, journaling has evolved into an intentional practice that promotes self-awareness, productivity, and well-being.

In this class, participants will use guided prompts and exercises to develop a journaling approach tailored to their unique needs and lifestyle. The course is structured into three key areas:

  • Journaling for Productivity – Organize your thoughts, set goals, and enhance focus.
  • Journaling for Physical Health – Track habits, reduce stress, and support overall wellness.
  • Journaling for Mental & Emotional Well-Being – Process emotions, cultivate gratitude, and develop resilience.

Class Outline

  • Session One – Intentional Journaling & Productivity: Explore the benefits of journaling, choose the right tools, and learn productivity techniques like the Bullet Journal Method through hands-on activities, including setting intentions, creating a cover, and mapping your journal.
  • Session Two – Journaling for Mental Health: Discover gratitude journaling, morning pages, mood tracking, and art journaling through guided prompts and activities like creating a gratitude list, an “About Me” page, and a personal heart map.
  • Session Three – Journaling for the Body & Soul : Explore faith journaling, health tracking, mindfulness, and nutrition while engaging in activities like setting a monthly challenge, designing a daily routine, and creating a “25 on 2025” list.
  • Session Four – Journaling for Growth & Legacy: Dive into goal setting, memory keeping, travel journaling, and junk journaling through activities like Level 10 Life, crafting goals, art composition (collaging), and writing a letter to your future self.

Maria Marcela Daza Garcia Mayorca

Years of working in the Corporate world where the need for structure was evident shaped Marce’s future endeavors. After moving to Qatar in 2017, Journaling became a way to cope with the distance and new culture. Consistently journaling, and testing further her creativity, was the starting point to becoming a Journal Instructor initially with private students and later hosting Bullet Journal Workshops at Katara Art Center. When the Pandemic limited the onsite teaching, she moved to online learning having the chance to collaborate with PRC Pakistan in designing and hosting Masterclasses to help women, especially young mothers to cope with the Global unrest.

In 2021, the need to share the benefits of Journaling with others inspired Marce to enroll in a Journal Therapy Diploma and to become a Journaling Coach. As a Journaling coach, She helps others to find the right style of Journaling to get more organized in their daily lives, track or shape habits or ailments, explore and address their emotions, and/or release their creativity only to become the best version of themselves.
