VCUQatar Hosts Portfolio Day

VCUQatar will host Qatar Portfolio Review Day on March 12 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the VCUQatar Atrium.

The Portfolio is the most important element of the VCUQatar application process.  Portfolio review day will give applicants an opportunity to present their portfolios to VCUQatar faculty representatives for review and comment. They will also learn how to improve and make their portfolio and VCUQatar application more competitive.  

All review sessions will be conducted on a first-come first-served basis and in English.

Please note that portfolio reviewers will not make admission decisions; they will give students feedback on the quality and range of their work and provide them with valuable advice about the types of items that should be included in a strong portfolio.

“This is the first time we have done a portfolio day.  As admittance into VCUQatar gets more competitive we hope that Portfolio Day will provide applicants with assistance on making their portfolio as competitive as it can be.   Each applicant will have a chance to meet individually with a faculty member to discuss their work.” said Valerie Jeremijenko Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.
