B.A. with Honors, Emergency and Disaster Management, American Military University. 

Biography

Andrea Cecetka is currently the Deputy Safety Officer at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar. She joined the Qatar campus in 2015. She has more than a decade of experience in occupational health and safety, environmental compliance, and disaster management.

Most recently she was an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. She has also held positions in the United States Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineering career field world-wide and as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Readiness and Training at Goodfellow AFB Medical Clinic, Texas.

She is an enthusiastic supporter of health prevention and safety in the arts and creative industries; she aspires to engage as many people as possible.

Safety in the Arts. 

How design can positively influence health in underserved communities. 

Disaster preparedness techniques for a globally mobile population.
