Synthesis Lab was created to actively research and educate the community about experimental media art practices with technology. Using our human physiology in conjunction with technology, data can be translated into various forms of artistic synthesis. The Lab focuses on the connectivity of new media to the sciences and medicine through the use of data and experimentation. The Research Assistant will support the intellectual and creative mission of the research lab and media infrastructure while furthering their own research interests in arts + technology. Ideal candidates would be graduating seniors or recent graduates.
This is a non-sponsored hourly position with no benefits. Applicants must have a valid residence permit and currently live in Qatar. The position would have an average of 10-20 hours per week. Scheduling will be flexible depending on the applicant's needs.
Reports to: Synthesis Lab supervisor
