Social Media Assistant for PAPR Department (Part-Time)

Summary

The Painting and Printmaking (PAPR) Department is looking for an innovator to work as the Social Media Assistant who has the ability to effectively assist in implementing the social concepts to meet the strategic vision of the Director of the PAPR, and work and manage in-platform to deliver content across main social digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Applicants must be willing to commit to working 16 hours per week.

This is a non-sponsored hourly position with no benefits. Applicants must have a valid residence permit and currently live in Qatar.

Reports to: Director of Painting & Printmaking

Major Activities & Essential Functions

  • Creates and implements a comprehensive social media campaign utilizing various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Maintains and updates PAPR website/blog content.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Senior Student in higher education who is currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related fields.
  • Interest in art and culture

Skills & Experience

  • Must be proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time-management skills, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
  • Superb communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work within a cooperative structure - working in a team.
  • Problem-solving attitude and leadership qualities.
