This course will introduce portrait photography through professional techniques. You will master how to creatively expose your photos, light your portraits, applying the depth of field, composing your shots and understanding how to frame the posing subject.

Farah Al Qadi
Lecturer
Farah Al Qadi is an Interior Designer and artist, who is currently working in the project management field. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. Although she is a designer by profession her main passion is Photography. She studied street photography and portraiture in Egypt and participated in several photography exhibitions including Street Photographers in Cairo 2017 and Ramadan Bil Masry 2018. Farah expanded her knowledge and applied it to the photographer’s community by curating and founding Qatar Photo Walks, which gathers photographers to explore the streets of Qatar through their lens.
