VCU accepts credits, with qualifying scores or grades, from a wide range of college-level courses, including:

Other accredited Colleges and Universities
Non-traditional higher education sources, such as:
- College-level credits earned in high/secondary school from Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate (IB), or Cambridge exams.
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
- Military and ROTC

Newly incoming student to VCUarts Qatar work directly with the Office of Admissions to have their prior academic work assessed for transfer to VCUarts Qatar, prior to – or within – their first term of enrollment at VCUarts Qatar.
