Scholarships – Qatar Foundation
For New Undergraduate Students to VCUarts Qatar
Qatar Foundation’s Office of Student Financial Services (QF-SFS) offers a range of scholarship options to newly incoming students at VCUarts Qatar including:
- Freshman Grants
- QF Schools Grants
- Refugee Grants
The QF Scholarships application instructions may instruct the following:
“Branch Campus Focal Point to activate your Application”
- Email the VCUarts Qatar Office of Admissions (with your full name) as soon as you have submitted your QF-SFS Scholarship Application, to request this action to be taken.
- Note: The VCUarts Qatar Office of Admissions can only perform these actions at the student’s express, written request.
Eligibility Requirements and Application Processes related to the various QF Scholarships are at the discretion of QF. Please contact QF Student Financial Services directly for more information.
For Continuing Undergraduate Students at VCUarts Qatar
QF Scholarships for Continuing Students at VCUarts Qatar include:

For Undergraduate Students applying for QF-Scholarships for the First Time
The QF Scholarship application instructions may instruct the following: (Note that the VCUarts Qatar Department Enrollment and Registration Services can only perform these actions at the student’s express, written request.)
“Branch Campus Focal Point to activate your Application”
- Email the VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services (with your full name and V#) as soon as you have submitted your QF-SFS Scholarship Application, to request this action to be taken.
“Academic Transcripts”
- Email the VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services (with your full name and V#) to request issuance of certified (stamped) transcripts.
- Certified transcripts are issued upon request only. It is the student’s responsibility to upload the Academic Transcript into their QF-SFS portal.
“No Other Grants”
- Email the VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services (with your full name and V#) to request this action to be taken.
- “No other Grants”-certifications are issued upon request only. It is the student’s responsibility to upload the No Other Grants-certification into their QF-SFS portal.
“Upload Letters of Recommendation” into the QF-SFS Student Portal”
- Request that your Recommenders forward their Letter of Recommendation written for you, to Sylvia at the VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services.
- VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services will upload the Letters of Recommendation into the QF-SFS Portal
For Undergraduate Students who already have a QF-Scholarship
Academic Transcripts
- The VCUarts Qatar Department of Enrollment and Registration Services will upload your Academic Transcripts into the QF-SFS Portal at the end of each term, once all final grades are available, so you may be considered for continued scholarship-eligibility by QF-SFS.
Loans – Qatar Foundation
For New Undergraduate Students to VCUarts Qatar
Qatar Foundation’s Office of Student Financial Services (QF-SFS) offers need-based financial aid loans to newly incoming students at VCUarts Qatar.
The QF Loans application instructions may instruct the following:
“Branch Campus Focal Point to activate your Application”
- Email the VCUarts Qatar Office of Admissions (with your full name) as soon as you have submitted your QF-SFS Scholarship Application, to request this action to be taken.
- Note: The VCUarts Qatar Office of Admissions can only perform these actions at the student’s express, written request.
Various options for repayment of QF Financial Aid Loans exist.
Standard Repayment:
- This option commits a student to repay the loan in installments until the loan is paid off in full.

- Please direct any questions directly to QF Student Financial Services.
Paid Service:
- This option is for students who find employment at one of the QF-approved companies/organizations/government offices.
- During a period from one to six years, and depending on the amount of the loan, students may be considered for partial “debt forgiveness”. (Note: Partial debt forgiveness went into effect for students who signed FA-contracts for the first time in Fall 2024 and after).

Scholarships – Ministry of Education
Qatari Nationals may apply for the Government Scholarship through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE).
