Step into the Gallery at VCUarts Qatar, a multi-purpose space dedicated to exhibitions, talks, and lectures on art and design from Doha and beyond!
It is a place where conversations happen and ideas are shared, where you can learn from the practices of locally and internationally renowned artists, art historians, and designers.
The Gallery has hosted talks, exhibitions, and lectures by the likes of Shirin Neshat, Jeff Koons, Marina Abramović, Wissam Shawkat, Diane von Furstenberg, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Richard Serra, Tarek Atoui, Akram Zaatari, Dice Kayek, Anna Lombardi, and Mohamad Hafez, to name a few!
As a multi-purpose art, lecture, and learning space, the range and adaptability of the Gallery’s programs and activities guarantee wide-ranging and engaging experiences for people of all backgrounds and all ages.
The Gallery is also a place to experience exhibitions by researchers, faculty, alumni, guest artists, and lecturers from our home campus in Richmond. Each spring, The Gallery is taken over by our graduating students during the BFA+MFA – where a fresh new crop of creative talent emerges.
