Yara Elfouly graduated from VCUarts Qatar with a BFA in Painting + Printmaking and a minor in Art History

Painting + Printmaking alumna Yara Elfouly recently began working as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Columbus College of Art & Design teaching in the Animation department as part of being awarded the AICAD Post-Graduate Teaching Fellowship.

Yara is a 2023 graduate of the prestigious California Institute of the Arts with a Masters of Fine Arts from the Experimental Animation program, where she was awarded several scholarships, including the Lillian Disney Scholarship. She graduated from VCUarts Qatar in 2020 with a BFA in Painting + Printmaking and a minor in Art History.
