At VCUarts Qatar, we offer a platform for instructors to teach a broad range of courses in arts, design, and beyond. If you are passionate about inspiring others, have excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a thriving creative community, we invite you to apply.

We’re particularly looking for instructors who are eager to engage with the community and help nurture creativity. Join us and make a lasting impact in Qatar’s artistic and educational landscape.

Important Information

• Local Instructors Only: We hire locally and do not provide flights or accommodation.
• Class Suggestions: Our focus is on arts and design courses, but we also integrate other fields like technology, healthcare, and law. Please review our course offerings before submitting a proposal.
• Current Theme: Each semester, we focus on a specific theme. Contact our Community & Continuing Education Coordinator at [email protected] for more details on the current theme and how your class could align.

• Class Outline
• Personal Photo

The online application form will guide you through the submission process, offering helpful tips along the way.

After You Submit Your Proposal

• Upon submission, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your details.
• Our team will review your proposal to determine if it aligns with our program and community interests.
• If selected, we will reach out to discuss next steps.
• If your proposal is not selected, you will not receive further communication from our department, but we will keep your proposal on file for future consideration.

Selection Process

The selection process is highly competitive due to the large volume of excellent proposals we receive. While we aim to accommodate as many great ideas as possible, we are only able to select a few. Our selection is based on the following criteria:

• Alignment with the program’s theme.
• Compatibility with existing programs.
• Availability of resources.
• Feasibility of the cost structure.

Review Cycle

• Spring Semester Proposals: Target review in November
• Summer Semester Proposals: Target review in May
  • For the summer, we typically run one High School Program in collaboration with our academic departments. This program is offered in its standardized form without a specific theme.
  • We also offer Children’s Programs during the summer. If you are interested in pursuing a children’s program at any time of the year, you are welcome to submit your proposal. Please specify that it is for a children’s program, and we will contact you if your program is selected.
• Fall Semester Proposals: Reviewed in August
• Extended Review Periods: While we aim to review proposals during these cycles, the process may extend depending on the volume of submissions.
