Associate Professor Dr Khaled Saoud from our Liberal Arts & Sciences department has designed a sustainable way to produce a more durable, less flammable and lighter insulation material
Dr Khaled Saoud’s work on polystyrene composites, which incorporates nanomaterials such as silica aerogel or nanosheets, is featured on the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy’s website.
The Committee notes that his innovation could be applied to countless construction projects, making each and every one safer – and more sustainable.
