An evening of expert workshops with Adobe-Europe evangalist Michael O’Neill, covering photography and video post-production, workflow and visual effects.
Atrium, VCUQatar, Education City, Doha
This masterclass is free and open to the public.
Seating is limited, and attendees are encouraged to arrive at 4.30pm to register themselves and reserve their space.
Session 1: Photoshop Tips & Tricks for Retouching, Video & 3D – Creative Workflows for anyone with a camera
This session will show DSLR workflow with Camera Raw, retouching techniques for portraits, studio work, landscapes, vanishing point, simplified masking tools, enhanced image workflows for getting the best colour, sharpness, vibrance and dynamic range out of every still or moving image, working with Video Layers and integration with Autodesk.
Suitable for all creative’s who wish to use, retouch and composite images for page design or onscreen as well as designers, editors, digital post production, visual effects, directors, animators and TV Entertainment producers.

Session 2: Script to Screen – Production Premium sneak peak at the New BBC Fabric TV workflow
A look of the toolsets that are already in active use by WPP, CNN & BBC. This session will go over the workflows with Adobe Story, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder. For both beginners & advanced, this session will cover Core Editing, cutting trimming of DPX & tapeless formats: Red 4K, Sony, AVCHD & Canon 5d & 7D within a 4:4:4 colour space and the use of formats and codecs across Open Workflows with Avid & Apple.
Suitable for all with a creative idea who wish to use video: writers, designers, editors, digital post production, directors, animators and TV Entertainment producers.

Session 3: Hollywood Visual Effects & Colour Grading
This session will show Adobe’s latest acquisition, Iridas Speedgrade, that was used to remaster all of the James Bond films to BlueRay. It will also feature Production Premium VFX and Digital Post Production techniques including: Compositing, Green Screen, Background Plate creation, Masking and Motion tracking used in feature films.

At the turn of the millennium Michael took up a UK post with Adobe Europe as the Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro guru working with agency, broadcast, animation and film accounts like Formula 1, BBC, Moving Picture Company, Cartoon Networks, SKY, WPP and Aardman to create end to end workflows for multiplatform commissioning, production and delivery to traditional TV, Broadband, iPhone, Android, Film, Print, Interactive, Social Networking, Advertisement and Integrated Marketing on a strategic, consultative and tactical level.
