VCUQatar presents ‘Common Thread’ in a special Trunk Show of VCUQatar students and Alumni, featuring fashion, jewelry, accessories and much more. Meet the designers and get a first-hand look at their original creations.
Common Thread is a “traveling trunk show” that supports local artists and designers that would otherwise not have a platform to display and sell their products. Most of the participants either make or design their products, often both. All vendors are screened and chosen for their quality and uniqueness.
Unlike a bazaar, the show focuses on a limited number of talented people (up to 15 vendors) who deserve to stand out and command your attention.
Founded by Joanna Dallimore, a VCUQatar Alumni herself, Common Thread takes place at established local venues including boutiques and salons. It is an open, friendly environment that has a creative community vibe.

This event is open to the public and no reservations are required.
Proceeds to benefit VCUQatar Scholarship fund.
