Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, in association with Qatar Museums, is pleased to host Qatar Creates: Talks
From the “Art School to the Art World: Preparing a new generation of Artists, Designers and Art Professionals for the Future” is a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Jelena Trkulja, Director of Education at Qatar Museums. The panelists are The Earl of Snowdown (also known as David Linley); Rosanne Somerson, President, Rhode Island School of Design; Marta Kuzma, Dean and Professor of Art, Yale School of Art; Shawn Brixey, Dean, School of the Arts (VCUarts), Special Assistant to the Provost for the School of the Arts in Qatar and Affiliate Professor in the College of Engineering at Viriginia Commonwealth University.
The event is presented as part of Qatar Creates: Talks to celebrate the opening of the National Museum of Qatar.
