Join us for a special evening of live performances, spoken word, and DJ sets from Doha-based electronic duo and record label Sonic Jeel. The event will celebrate the culmination of two distinct sonic journeys and highlight the duo’s ongoing collaborations with local and international artists.
The evening will kick off with a spatial ambient sonorization, followed by a live set by Shawky, a musician and artist performing experimental vocals, then move into performances of both albums: Supersonic (Michael Hersrud and Simone Muscolino) and 50/50 (Silai Estatira and Dr. G).
Cheb Moha, photographer, poet and fashion designer, will close the evening with a DJ set. New media artist Hadeer Omar will curate live projections with experimental publisher Water With Water to design custom merch for the event.
