The Tenth Biennial Hamad bin Khalifa Symposium on Islamic Art will be held from November 11-13 at VCUarts Qatar’s Atrium
The Tenth Biennial Hamad bin Khalifa Symposium on Islamic Art will be held from November 11-13, 2023.
The theme of this year’s symposium is ‘Islamic Art History and the Global Turn: Theory, Method, Practice’. The symposium is led by co-chairs, Dr. Radha Dalal and Dr. Hala Auji.
Dr. Finbarr Barry Flood will be giving the keynote address titled, “Shifting Scales: Islamic Art History as Global Microhistory”.
