Outcome

Coach Carolin Zeitler will help participants to develop enthusiasm – if not a passion – for presenting. They will realise what it is they want to say and how they can say it in a more engaging way. This workshop will plant a seed for them to become the best they can be.

Objectives

• Growing beyond the standard ‘five-bullets-per-slide’ Power Point Presentation
• Becoming aware of the main ‘tools’ of the presenter: body language, facial expression & voice modulation
• Utilising individual strengths and resources to develop a unique presentation style
• Investing more thought into the message to be conveyed and the needs of the audience
• Enhancing the ‘stage presence’ of the presenter
• Developing clearer, more engaging and informative slides and handouts

About the workshop

This course looks at how we can make presentations more interesting and engaging. Each of us has a talent that can help us capture an audience and deliver information in an appealing, entertaining or thought-provoking way. Over the three days we uncover these talents and learn how to utilise them optimally.

We will also be working on:

• Discovering and utilising individual strengths and resources
• Building confidence as a speaker
• What makes a great speaker?
• Dealing with interruptions and questions
• Creating effective and engaging visual aids
• Becoming an enthusiastic and engaging public speaker

Date & Time

The workshop is spread out over 4 days (16 hours in total). Food and refreshments will be provided each day.

• Wednesday, 16 Feb: 2 PM – 6 PM
• Thursday, 17 Feb: 2 PM – 6 PM
• Friday, 18 Feb: 3 PM – 7 PM
• Saturday, 19 Feb: 11 AM – 3 PM

Cost

• General 4 day workshop ticket – $300 (~1100 QR)
• VCUQatar Alumni 4 day workshop ticket – $150 (~550 QR)

About the Coach

Carolin Zeitler is the Director of Arcata Interactive Communication Coaching and the Founder & Initiator of the How Women Work Conference. Carolin combined the skills and experience she gained from being Personal Coach, Dance Therapist and Managing Director for many years to create unique coaching programmes for private and professional people. She has dedicated her professional life to inspiring, encouraging and empowering people to make a difference.

She coaches those who want to create meaning, connection and flow in their work and in their lives, those who want to experience more joy and live up to their full potential. She believes that success in all its many forms is most sustainable when it is fuelled by passion and commitment, that people are happiest when they strive to be the best they can be.
