Stepping Toward Sensory Design

2010 Spring Lecture Series: Joy Monice Malnar, Associate Professor, School of Architecture, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Joy believes that if designers had a better understanding of the human senses, and sharpened their skills in perception, our designed environment would be enriched. Information on the senses, and built examples by designers who have been well aware of their discipline's sensori-emotional dimensions will illustrate the significance of this design approach.

This lecture is open to the public and no reservations are required.
