Smalltout Lecture Dr Pullan

A lecture by Dr. Wendy Pullan on some major findings from the architecture-led and University of Cambridge based research project, “Conflict in Cities and the Contested State.”

The lecture will offer insights into changing perception of cities seen through the spatial politics of architecture: space and boundaries, infrastructures and mobility, frontier urbanism and shared space.

Dr. Pullan has published widely on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern architecture and cities and has advised on issues to do with urban uncertainty. Her recent publications include: Locating Urban Conflicts (co-edited, 2013) and The Struggle for Jerusalem’s Holy Places (co-authored, 2013). She is a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge.
