Moza won the award for her work on the BFA + MFA 2023 Exhibition Showcase Branding

Graphic Design alumna Moza Al-Suwaidi has won Gold in the In-House category at the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) Design Awards.

Moza, who is a Graphic Designer at our Communications & External Relations department, won the award for her work on the BFA + MFA 2023 Exhibition Showcase Branding. The BFA + MFA Exhibition is an annual event that showcases the final thesis projects of our graduating students. The excellent photographs used in the award-winning project were taken by Raviv Cohen.

The UCDA Design Awards recognizes the best of the exceptional design and creative work done by communication professionals to promote educational institutions (secondary, vocational, or higher education) and supports the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role of these creatives.

The annual awards honor the best work in educational design—in PRINT AND DIGITAL, ILLUSTRATION, PHOTOGRAPHY, and STUDENT competitions. The coveted awards are judged by a hand-picked panel of peer jurors composed of designers, design educators, photographers, and illustrators working in or doing a significant portion of their work for educational institutions.

Moza’s work will be among the winning entries of the four competitions which will be part of the UCDA Design Show on display during the 53rd annual UCDA Design Conference. It will take place on October 14-17, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia.
