We are pleased to invite you to the November program of Tasmeem Doha 2026, VCUarts Qatar’s art and design biennial. Under the theme حَوِّل (Hawwil), meaning “transmit,” this year’s Tasmeem Doha centers knowledge as a trust, and showcases how it is shared between generations and reinterpreted through creative practice.
Workshops and Knowledge Circle | November 1–4
Various locations at VCUarts Qatar
Workshops will explore pattern design and archives, printmaking and digital tools, alongside experimental approaches to materials and making. During the Knowledge Circle, or halaqa, participants will share insights from the workshops and reflect together on Tasmeem’s theme of transmitting knowledge.
