The New Student Orientation Program (NSOP):

  • Generally held the week prior to the start of classes
  • Covers 4 days. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
  • Is mandatory for all new students and for all 4 days.
  • NSOP introduces you to:
    • VCUarts Qatar’s community of faculty, staff, scholars and other new students
    • The academic program in which you will enroll
    • VCUarts Qatar’s campus premises
    • The myriad of resources available to you
    • VCUarts Qatar’s expectations of you
  • NSOP includes
    • Fun programs that enable you to get to know your class mates and prepare you for the rich and diverse academic experience ahead.
    • Academic Advising
    • Math placement test
    • Assistance with the online course registration process
