High School Summer Art & Design Program 2025

The Summer Art & Design Program for High school students 2025 is an intensive three-week program with an optional week of portfolio development classes. It is designed to empower participants to shape their educational journey by offering an introduction to various majors and allowing them to delve deeply into a chosen discipline. 

The course commences with an overview of four of the undergraduate degree programs offered at VCUarts Qatar. Participants have the opportunity to select from a range of majors: Graphic Design, Interior Design, or Painting and Printmaking, and Kinetic Imaging which they will study in-depth. 

For those seeking to submit portfolios as part of university applications in art and design, optional portfolio development classes are available. These classes aim to prepare prospective students for the application process of art and design universities.  

Program Timeline

• Week 1 : Foundation Week (Mandatory) – July 13 – 17, 2025
• Week 2 & 3 : Program Majors (Mandatory, participants choose 1 major from 4 )- July 20-31, 2025
• Week 4: Portfolio Development (Optional) – August 3 – 7, 2025.
