I like to make things and keep busy.
I am an artist, born and raised in Texas. I graduated in 2008 from The University of Texas at Austin, receiving a BFA in Studio Art. I graduated in 2010 with a MA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. As an artist, I develop a dialogue with people about issues they are facing. These conversations frequently bring up questions I am exploring in my own work, sparking new ideas. This continuing dialogue becomes the content of finished artwork. My work has appeared in numerous exhibitions.
I am currently working on my second masters degree at MICA in Baltimore, MD and teaching art in Qatar. My work can be viewed at: www.cakecrush.com.
