About this class

Develop creativity and fine motor skills during our week long art workshops especially for 4-6 year year old artists.
Children will explore a variety of different mediums and techniques and make exciting collaborative and individual artworks.

Class Outline

Over the five mornings, children will print, paint ,sculpt and experiment with mixing medias to create their own interpretations of under sea life and watery worlds. The week will cumulate in an exhibition to showcase their creativity and work.

Materials needed

Items to buy for this class

A soft but waterproof art overall and old clothing . 

On occasions, there may be some more materials to be bought and brought in if and when advised by the instructor.

Bridget Dunn
Lecturer

Bridget Dunn is an art teacher and illustrator who is originally from New Zealand.

Her specialty is art education for younger children and she is passionate about promoting art in the community.

Bridget majored in art at Canterbury University in Christchurch and trained as a primary teacher.

Prior to moving to the Middle East, she taught for 10 years in London preparatory schools and lectured art at a teacher’s college. Bridget had three more years teaching in Bahrain before moving to Qatar where she spent eight years teaching art and design in schools and with VCUarts Qatar in community education. 

Now on another adventure in the Middle East, she is excited to share her ideas and expertise online.
