Graphic Design Internship (HBKU)

About us: We are a group of professors, scientists and engineers from HBKU and the US developing a mentorship platform designed to connect leaders from industry and academia with emerging talents. We aim to equip the next generation with the tools and guidance necessary to succeed in the computer science field.

Internship Description: We are seeking a talented and innovative Graphic Design Intern to play a key role in the commercialization of our mentorship platform. This position is perfect for students or recent graduates passionate about using their design skills to make a real impact in the business and education sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Design visual content for marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, and presentations to attract both users and investors.
• Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to refine branding strategies and ensure a cohesive visual identity for the platform.
• Assist in the creation of user interface designs for the platform, enhancing the user experience.
• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive business plan by designing compelling visual representations of market analysis and growth strategies.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative marketing and design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, particularly in digital media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with UI design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
