About this class

This course explores the symbiotic relationship between branding and design, delving into the fundamental principles that underpin effective visual communication. Students will gain insights into how design shapes brand perception and learn to create cohesive visual identities. From the strategic use of color and typography to the art of storytelling through design, participants will develop skills that align design choices with brand objectives. Practical exercises and case studies will reinforce the integration of design theory into the broader context of brand development and promotion.

Class 8: Design Promotion and Brand awareness

Course objectives:

  • Understand the interconnected nature of branding and design.
  • Apply color theory principles to construct cohesive color palettes for brand recognition.
  • Create effective logo designs that align with brand values and mission.
  • Incorporate animation into branding to enhance dynamic brand expression.
  • Communicate brand voice and personality through strategic typography choices.

  • Apply theoretical aspects of poster and advertisement design to promote brands effectively.
