Biography

Lejla started her professional journey at the Center for Research in Design and before rejoining VCuarts Qatar in 2020 in the role of the Director of Strategic Engagement overseeing community and industry relations, alumni relations, community and continuing education and special events, she was a Business Development Executive at Arab Engineering Bureau as well as the Project Development Manager for cultural and heritage projects.

Over the course of her career Lejla has transformed her experience by building relationships with and between people and organizations to deliver projects and to drive positive and strategic business and institutional growth.

Committed to results, efficiency, quality and financial responsibility, Lejla is interested in exploring unique opportunities that help build brands, develop personal and institutional profiles, and raise awareness.  She develops and manages effective relationships to gain support, advance institutional goals and establish strong market standing.

Characterized as a network leader who is able to motivate and mentor others, Lejla believes in cross-functional teams and collective endeavor.

Lejla’s area of expertise includes but is not limited to: CSR and external engagement with local and international public, private nonprofit, corporate and philanthropic sectors, programming and strategic decision-making, project and programme management, generating leads, establishing successful strategic affiliations, networking, event and exhibition management
