Technology Services
Mona Kassem is an advocate of emerging educational technologies, teaching, learning and research. For the past 10 years, she has been ingrained in higher education in Qatar. Her expertise revolves around information and educational technology, instructional design, eLearning and multimedia production, research-based pedagogical and instructional strategies.
Mona’s research interest is inter-disciplined, design-and-technology-oriented and culturally relevant. Her research focuses on exploring the pedagogical and instructional outcomes of the practical use of emergent technologies in the classroom, especially in art and design programs. Her main research and pedagogical interests are primarily focused on topics where art meets technology. She is also interested in exploring the emergent technologies and instructional models that could transform individuals with different learning styles, into creative thinkers and innovators.
