Join us for an engaging exploration of immersive cinema as an urban art form, where visual narratives shift fluidly between space, emotion, and perception. Much like a city, immersive cinema is never fully grasped in a single moment—it unfolds through movement and experience. This event invites you to navigate the in-between spaces of cognition and feeling, challenging traditional boundaries of architecture and storytelling. Discover how embracing fluidity in cinematic and urban experiences can inspire new visions for the future of architecture.

Sergey Prokofyev is a Ukrainian architect and filmmaker, currently based in Berlin. Sergey received his Diploma in Architecture in 2007 from the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Ukraine.
With extensive experience in both fields, he explores unique approaches to immersive storytelling. Believing architecture extends beyond creating physical spaces, he designs experiences that deeply resonate on a human level. His work bridges urban design and immersive cinema, striving to create collective experiences that inspire, engage, and challenge conventional perceptions. Recognized at international festivals, Sergey’s projects leverage immersive technologies to enhance the relationship between individuals and their environments, blending architecture, media, and human perception in innovative and thought-provoking way.
Through collaboration with neuroscientists, he focused on studying the processes associated with the mechanisms of human perception and behavior in the city.
